About the role
We're looking for a Data Analyst to help TransferX turn data into insights that improve our products, programs, and student experience.
You'll work with data from our platform, community, marketing initiatives, events, and student programs to understand what's working, identify opportunities, and help the team make better decisions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys finding patterns in data and translating those patterns into clear, actionable recommendations.
What you'll do
- Analyze data from TransferX products, programs, and marketing initiatives
- Build reports and dashboards to track important metrics
- Monitor user engagement, acquisition, retention, and community growth
- Analyze student behavior and identify trends
- Evaluate marketing and outreach campaigns
- Support research and surveys with data analysis
- Clean, organize, and validate datasets
- Identify opportunities for improving student engagement and product experiences
- Present findings and recommendations to the team
- Help establish and track key performance indicators
- Work with product, marketing, and community teams to answer data-driven questions
What we're looking for
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and datasets
- Understanding of basic statistics and data analysis
- Experience with tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical teammates
- Curiosity and willingness to investigate why something is happening, not just what is happening
- Ability to work independently and manage projects

- Experience with SQL

You'll help the TransferX team answer questions like: Who are our students? What do they need? Where are they getting stuck? What's working? And how can we make TransferX better?
